About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team at Kings Camps. As a Sports Coach, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy, fun, and inclusive sessions that get every child active and having fun, regardless of their ability.

You will work closely with our Camp Manager and a like-minded team to ensure the welfare of children is paramount at all times. This includes supervising children during their lunch breaks, participating in swimming sessions, overseeing safe use of equipment, and promptly recording any incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-energy, fun, and inclusive sessions that get every child active and having fun
  • Supervise children during their lunch breaks and participate in swimming sessions
  • Oversee safe use of equipment and promptly record any incidents
  • Work closely with the Camp Manager and a like-minded team to ensure the welfare of children is paramount at all times
  • Share our commitment to safeguarding and create an environment where young people feel safe and can thrive

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months' experience working with children from 5 – 17 years
  • At least 3 months' experience coaching a sport or active games
  • Vibrant, resilient, team player
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Level 2 or higher qualification in: Primary or Secondary Teaching; Sports Coaching; or Physical Education
  • Paediatric First Aid (training opportunities are also available)
