As a coach, you will report to the Camp Manager and collaborate with a dedicated team. Your schedule will typically be Monday to Friday, overseeing groups of children aged 5 to 17, and facilitating energetic, inclusive sessions that encourage participation and enjoyment for all abilities.
Ensuring child safety is paramount; you will supervise children during breaks, assist in swimming activities, manage equipment use, and document any incidents promptly.
As an Ofsted registered organization, you will have the opportunity to observe high standards in child care and wellbeing, gain first aid qualifications, and engage with parents and guardians while accessing extensive training resources.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Availability during weekdays throughout school holidays
- Minimum of 6 months experience working with children aged 5 to 17
- At least 3 months experience in coaching sports or active games
- Dynamic, resilient, and collaborative team player
- Adaptable and flexible in approach
- Possession of a Level 2 or higher qualification in Teaching, Sports Coaching, or Physical Education
- Paediatric First Aid certification (training opportunities available)
