Chief Mechanical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Jonathan Lee Recruitment. As a leading recruitment agency, we specialize in placing top talent in innovative industrial and off-road systems companies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical products for heavy platforms, working closely with electrical engineers and other departments. A degree in a related subject (BEng, BSc) in Mechanical or Product Design Engineering is essential, along with experience in an engineering and product design environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing products in 3D, including 2D detail production drawings
  • Updating existing designs in conjunction with electrical design engineers
  • Working with an ERP system (Microsoft NAV or similar)
  • Skilled with 3D CAD (ideally Autodesk Inventor or similar)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industrial, Rail, Off-Road or Heavy Platform product design experience
