Job Title: Class 1 Cab Hopper Tramper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 HGV driver to join our team as a Tramper. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and delivering customers' products on a curtain-sided trailer, using a handheld PDA to complete paperwork, and dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collecting and delivering customers' products on a curtain-sided trailer.
  • Using a handheld PDA to complete paperwork.
  • Dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing customers' expectations.
  • Attending regular training sessions.
Requirements:
  • Must hold a UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Working to deadlines.
  • Confident, polite, and a team player.
  • Good geographical knowledge.
