Job Title: Class 1 Cab Hopper Tramper

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Nationwide (UK)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 HGV driver to join our team as a Tramper Operator. As a key member of our transport team, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering customers' products on a curtain-sided trailer, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and deliver customers' products on a curtain-sided trailer, adhering to strict load security protocols.
  • Operate a handheld PDA to complete paperwork and manage customer expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and the transport team to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good geographical knowledge and ability to navigate the UK.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
