About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Jubilee Lodge, a 75-bed care home in the heart of the Cotswolds. As a Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, working closely with our care teams to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the care team to ensure high standards of nursing and personal care are met
  • Deliver, monitor, and re-evaluate care needs in partnership with residents, their key carers, family members, and the wider team
  • Liaise effectively with GPs, hospitals, and external agencies to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the care team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident, promoting independence and dignity

Requirements

  • Qualified Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Post-registration experience, with a clear understanding of regulatory frameworks and a willingness to train in areas such as medication administration, catheterisation, and end-of-life care
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Able to work autonomously, with a strong sense of initiative and a commitment to delivering high-quality care
