About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Machine Service Engineer to join our client's team, providing technical service support for print finishing and packaging machinery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to travel to customer sites.

This is a full-time position, with working hours Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm and Fridays 8:30am-4:30pm.

The package includes:

  • 23 days holiday + bank holidays

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical service support, including installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.
  2. Conduct machinery demonstrations and installations, delivering training to customers and partners.
  3. Diagnose and resolve faults with minimal downtime, using advanced troubleshooting techniques.
  4. Build strong customer relationships, delivering a first-class service experience.
  5. Engage in technical problem-solving across multiple technologies.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications - mechanical/electrical
  • Proven experience working with capital equipment
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites
  • Full & Clean UK Driving License

Estimated Salary: £58,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
