Company Background

Concrete Industries Inc is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance and Control professional to monitor the production process of prestressed/precast products.

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with contract specifications, adhering to company safety programs, and maintaining consistent and reliable attendance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the entire process of prestressed/precast production, including pre-pour, pour-in-process, and post-pour stages.
  • Inspect forms for dimensional tolerances, check concrete batches for errors, and perform necessary fresh concrete tests.
  • Verify that concrete cylinders achieve specified release strength, perform final inspections, and ensure accurate product identification.

Additional Tasks:

  • Test materials used in manufacturing and products manufactured by Concrete Industries Inc.
  • Perform maintenance and cleanup of lab facilities and equipment as directed.
  • Examine company records for product information and quality test results.
  • Inspect products for compliance with order specifications and company quality control requirements.
  • Submit samples for laboratory testing as per department procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED and one year of experience in a related construction field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid NE Driver's license and ACI Level I certification (PCI Level II preferred) or ability to complete training within one year.
  • Aptitude for detail, ability to support quality standards, and flexibility to work a varied schedule.
