Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for all Sales and Estimating activities in line with our global sales strategy. You will also manage and control equipment sales, spares, and services, as well as provide active input to our overall company strategy, direction, and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and control equipment sales, including bespoke capital equipment and standard products
- Manage and control spares sales activities
- Manage and control services, including aftermarket spares and services support
- Provide active input to our overall company strategy, direction, and operational goals
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet business objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers
- Engineering qualification, HNC as a minimum
- 10+ years of experience in process manufacturing, special purpose machinery, or similar manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of experience in a sales executive role
- 3+ years of experience in people management, preferably in an engineering environment
- Extensive technical, commercial sales, and cost estimation experience
- Extensive client/supplier management experience in a technical/commercial environment
- Salary up to £55,000
