We are seeking a patient and caring individual to support our client, a young man with complex needs, in pursuing his interests and hobbies. The successful candidate will provide support with mobilization, transfer, and personal care tasks, as well as accompany him to local community events and activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support with daily living tasks, including mobilization and transfer
- Accompany the client to local community events and activities
- Assist with personal care tasks, as needed
- Work effectively with the client's multidisciplinary therapy team
- Develop and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with the client and his family
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with the client and his family
- Patience, tact, understanding, warmth, and compassion
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and punctuality
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Certificate
