Job Opportunity: Construction Teacher

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Teacher to join our team at a mainstream secondary school in Derbyshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Construction up to Key Stage 5 and implementing schemes of learning to help students achieve excellent results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Construction to students up to Key Stage 5
  • Implement schemes of learning to promote student engagement and academic success
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess and provide feedback to students on their progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans

Requirements:

  • QTS with Design Technology or Construction specialism (ECTs welcome)
  • Experience teaching Construction up to Key Stage 5
  • Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
