About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef Manager to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh and innovative food services to independent schools and colleges.

As a Chef Manager, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food and service
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our clients and their students
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and supply chain management
  • Collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to develop new business opportunities and grow our client base
  • Stay up-to-date with current food trends and industry developments to ensure our menus remain innovative and appealing
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Chef Manager or similar role in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
