Job Title: Education Support Assistant

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Support Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As an Education Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in various educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, including those with EYFS, SEN, and Primary curriculum requirements.
  • Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans and supporting students with learning tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students with special educational needs to access the curriculum and participate in classroom activities.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, teachers, and parents to ensure seamless support.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of GCSEs in Maths and English.
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
  • Additional training in specific areas such as Autism Awareness or Makaton.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-Time, temporary position.
  • Supporting students in various educational settings.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff.
