Senior Dispute Resolution Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
As a Senior Dispute Resolution Manager at Babble Cloud Ltd, you will lead a team of professionals in managing and resolving complex legal disputes. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading, motivating, and mentoring a team of dispute resolution specialists.
- Fostering a collaborative and productive team environment, encouraging professional development and high performance.
- Conducting regular team meetings and performance reviews, including weekly ledger reviews and 121s, as well as quarterly performance reviews.
- Providing coaching and training to team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
Dispute Management:
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Overseeing the management and resolution of legal disputes related to services provided.
- Developing and implementing strategies for efficient and effective dispute resolution, minimizing risk and financial exposure.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive approach to dispute management.
- Ensuring all cases are managed in an efficient and timely manner.
Legal Analysis and Strategy:
As a Senior Dispute Resolution Manager, you will also be responsible for:
- Providing expert legal advice and analysis on complex dispute cases.
- Developing case strategies, including risk assessment and mitigation plans.
- Staying updated on industry trends, legal developments, and regulatory changes affecting the telecommunications and IT sectors.
- Understanding of terms and conditions, reviewing, and making recommendations for changes to terms from time to time.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Ensuring all dispute resolution activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Identifying potential legal risks and developing strategies to address them proactively.
- Liaising with regulatory bodies and representing the company in legal proceedings when necessary.
Reporting and Documentation:
As a Senior Dispute Resolution Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and presenting regular reports on dispute resolution activities and outcomes to senior management.
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of all dispute cases and related documentation.
- Ensuring timely and accurate reporting to regulatory authorities as required.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in legal dispute resolution, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Experience within the telecommunications or IT industry is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Superior communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
