Quantitative Research Analyst

SEI Investments (Europe) Ltd. is seeking a skilled Quantitative Research Analyst to join our Quantitative Investment Management team. As a Quantitative Research Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting various equity portfolios managed by QIM by maintaining and enhancing stock selection factors and processes. You will focus on ESG factors and contribute to research in general.
Key Responsibilities
• Research (40%): Propose and substantiate new ideas; undertake research, validation, back-testing, and production of ESG factors; document and communicate the findings;
• Automation (20%): Develop tools and strategies for constructing signals;
• Portfolio Management (20%): assist in managing portfolios, ensure accuracy of all inputs and identify enhancement opportunities;
• Communication and Client Service (20%): communicate clearly through face-to-face meetings, presentations and written publications; perform literature reviews and keep apprised of sustainable investing research; collaborate with client, operations and research teams;
Requirements
• Expertise in quantitative analysis and dealing with large data sets;
• Experience in a high-level programming language such as Python or R;
• Experience with ESG data and familiarity with ESG regulations;
• Ability to explain results and model features to non-technical audiences;
• Hands-on attitude: willing to get involved with various projects across the group;
