Role Overview:
The Wayman Learning Trust is seeking an exceptional Religious Education (RE) specialist to join their team of dedicated educators in Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual to contribute to the development of students' understanding and appreciation of faith and values.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching RE to students at various age levels, including GCSE and A-Level. They will work collaboratively with the RE faculty to develop innovative and engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching RE to students across various age levels
- Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that promote student understanding and appreciation of faith and values
- Collaborating with the RE faculty to achieve academic excellence and student success
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to measure student progress
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a degree in RE and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). The successful candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic educator with a passion for teaching RE and a commitment to student success.
