We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Baxendale Mason Ltd, a leading hospitality company in the UK. Our company has a rich history spanning over 800 years, and we are proud to be a part of the vibrant city of Norwich.

As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in the success of our 2 AA Rosette restaurant, working closely with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating delicious dishes, has a keen eye for detail, and is able to lead a team of chefs to achieve our high standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Lead a team of chefs to ensure seamless service during peak periods
  • Monitor food costs, inventory, and quality control
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and safe working environment

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor during peak periods
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
