We are seeking a highly organized and autonomous Evening Assistant Psychologist to join our team at The Chelsea Psychology Clinic. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct telephone conversations with new enquiries to assess suitability for our services and decide on the most appropriate treatment option.
- Assist in matching new clients to the most suitable psychologist for ongoing sessions.
- Cofacilitate assessments and sessions alongside clinicians where appropriate.
- Facilitate individual skill sessions and rotating group therapy modules.
- Deal professionally with telephone enquiries, taking messages and using initiative to take follow-up actions when appropriate.
- Liaise with clients and assist in the design and management of electronic spreadsheets/databases as required.
- Receive regular clinical supervision in accordance with professional practice guidelines.
- Participate in a fortnightly AP reflective practice led by the Clinical Lead.
- Take part in a weekly meeting led by the Senior AP to discuss the needs of the clinic and address any difficulties that arise.
- Attend meetings to discuss service developments and participate in clinical governance initiatives.
- Assist in the design and implementation of audit projects.
- Undertake data collection, analysis, and reporting using IT and statistical programs.
