Nursing Director for Children and Young People

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled nursing professional to fill the role of Deputy Associate Director of Nursing for Children and Young People. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a team of nursing professionals in delivering high-quality care to children and young people.
Main Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing team, ensuring that services are delivered in line with the Trust's vision and values.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, ensuring that they are evidence-based and aligned with national guidelines.
- Work closely with other stakeholders, including local authorities and voluntary sector partners, to ensure that services are integrated and effective.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Lead and manage a team of nursing professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver high-quality care.

Person Specification- Registered Nurse Child
- Master's degree or working towards
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Experience working at band 8a level or above with substantial post-qualification experience as Matron/Unit Manager or equivalent, managing nursing teams.
- Able to influence and work with local partners internally and externally to help develop services.
- Proven ability in carrying out clinical audits and Quality Improvement projects, and ability to develop and use a Risk Strategy.
- In-depth experience of developing and implementing service policies and procedures.
