Financial Services Administrator

Join our team at Service Service Employment Agency Limited as a Financial Services Administrator in our Suffolk Branch, just outside of Lowestoft. As a key member of our team, you will provide a welcoming, efficient, professional, and effective client service with a high focus on quality and accuracy, adhering to TCF and Consumer Duty principles at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Service: Prepare and issue Recommendation Letters and obtain relevant research, application forms, and supporting documentation.
  • Business Processing: Process and monitor new business and 'top ups' to existing business through to completion.
  • Client Valuations: Prepare client valuations and review packs 2 weeks ahead of client meeting dates.
  • Post-Review Processing: Process all post-review related paperwork and prepare relevant correspondence as required.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients and providers, responding to queries via telephone, email, and post in a timely manner.
  • Financial Transactions: Ensure financial transactions are completed correctly and files are fully FCA compliant by following internal compliance procedures.
  • Client Records: Ensure all client records and data are maintained accurately and efficiently.
  • Information Management: Obtain and interpret information from providers and fund managers, keeping Financial Planners up to date with all communications.
  • Correspondence: Send out letters of authority and correspondence to clients, professional introducers, and other third parties.
  • Client Meeting Packs: Prepare new client meeting packs.
  • Fee Management: Calculate fees, raise client invoices, and chase outstanding fees as required.
  • Workflow Management: Effective management of day-to-day work through the company's workflow system.
  • General Administration: Other general administration duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Certificate in Financial Services: Certificate in Financial Services or working towards qualification (A partly qualified candidate is desirable)
  • Education: Grade A-C or 9-4 including English and Maths (Essential)
  • Experience: Previous experience in Financial Services within an IFA setting (Essential)
  • Skills: Previous experience of report writing and the ability to demonstrate strong letter writing skills (Desirable)
  • Knowledge: Understanding of FCA rules, ethics, and financial regulations (Essential)
  • Financial Knowledge: A working knowledge of investments, pensions, and protection plans as well as other financial products and financial planning tools (Essential)
  • IT Skills: Strong IT skills, MS Office Word and Excel
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organisational and communication skills, good numeracy skills, attention to detail, able to demonstrate an adaptable/flexible approach to work within a changing environment, ability to work within a team environment, inter-personal skills, both written and verbal
  • Desirable Skills: Experience of using IO (Desirable)
