About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Indirect Tax Specialist to join our team at Mazars. As a key member of our VAT advisory practice, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality technical advice to our clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Technical Advice: Provide expert guidance on Indirect Tax matters, including VAT issues in Real Estate, to our diverse range of clients.
  • Client Management: Manage a portfolio of clients as the main point of contact for indirect tax, developing your portfolio to grow your base of profitable work.
  • Business Development: Develop a portfolio of businesses to target, using your business development skills to start new relationships and generate new work for indirect tax and other teams.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues across the firm to contribute to proposals for new work and provide technical input to tax-wide projects.
  • Leadership Contribution: Contribute to the indirect tax leadership team with ideas on management, projects, strategy, and focus.
Requirements
  • Substantial Experience: Substantial experience in VAT advisory work, ideally including a good knowledge of real estate VAT issues.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
