Job Title: Social Work Professional for Children's Development and Support

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Social Work Professional to support our newly qualified social workers and international social workers in the Peterborough Children's Social Work Academy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for co-allocating work with our NQSWs to support their professional confidence and development with social work that requires statutory intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support newly qualified social workers and international social workers in the Peterborough Children's Social Work Academy
  • Co-allocate work with NQSWs to support their professional confidence and development
  • Work with social work teams to implement and embed our practice model
  • Facilitate service-wide learning and development

Requirements:

  • Experience in social work, preferably in a children's services setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Passion for improving outcomes for children and families
