Geotechnical Field and Core Logging Engineer
About the Role
Fugro is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Field and Core Logging Engineer to join our Offshore Site Investigation and Reporting team. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for performing offshore site investigations, core logging, and testing, as well as preparing data for offshore and onshore deliverables and factual reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct offshore site investigations and core logging operations
- Process and manage offshore and onshore data using spreadsheets and in-house programs
- Perform, check, and correct field and laboratory data processed by others
- Assign laboratory tests and manage laboratory test programs
- Assist in the production of field and laboratory reports
- Produce other data deliverables such as offshore & onshore data packs
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent
- Computer literate, capable of using spreadsheets and plotting software
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A good team player and able to form working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
