Job Title: Staff Geotechnical Engineer

Fugro is seeking a highly skilled Staff Geotechnical Engineer to join their Client Deliverables Department in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, UK.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for working on various offshore site investigations and assisting senior staff members in preparing field, laboratory, and engineering reports in accordance with company procedures, health and safety, and quality policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct offshore site investigations and data acquisition
  • Assist in preparing field, laboratory, and engineering reports
  • Collaborate with senior staff members to ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards
  • Travel internationally and work offshore for 90-120 days per year
Requirements
  • Undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in civil engineering, engineering geology, or related discipline
  • Knowledge of general geotechnical data acquisition and testing
  • Associate membership of an appropriate professional body
  • Computer literacy and basic ability to use spreadsheets and plotting software
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients
