Job Overview

Educators Wales is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Construction Skills Trainer. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting apprentices in achieving their City and Guilds Construction (Level 3) Site Carpentry apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To assess and progress a caseload of learners, ensuring they meet the required operational key performance indicators.
  2. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements throughout the learners' journey, including health and safety, vetting, and monitoring.
  3. Review current performance and provide accurate forecasts to manage the caseload effectively.
  4. To comply with internal quality assurance processes and ensure practice meets awarding organisation criteria.
  5. Work with the commercial team to target new starts and meet WBL targets.

The salary for this position is approximately £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

  • You will have extensive experience in construction and assessment.
  • You will hold a relevant qualification, such as a teaching qualification or equivalent.
  • You will be able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
