The Senior Audit Lead is responsible for leading various business, regulatory, and compliance audits in accordance with the Internal Audit Plan. This role supports the annual Internal Audit risk assessment process and ensures that audit findings are effectively addressed.

Key Responsibilities:

To provide an independent assessment of the firm's processes for controlling its activities and managing its risks, the Senior Audit Lead will work closely with the Internal Audit group to accomplish the following:

  • Perform risk-based audit work, including detailed walkthroughs, documentation reviews, and testing of operating design and effectiveness.
  • Validate data and analysis for accuracy in line with the audit strategy.
  • Collaborate with management to propose action plans to address audit findings.
  • Ensure that audit findings and action points are clearly communicated to senior stakeholders.
  • Build business relationships with audit clients.
  • Deliver high-quality audits on time.
  • Provide timely feedback to the Head of Internal Audit.

Key Contacts:

The Senior Audit Lead will establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the firm, including Front Office, Compliance, Risk, and Support Functions.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the Senior Audit Lead will require:

  • Minimum years' experience of performing business, regulatory, and compliance audits.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A mix of Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk Management, and/or consulting experience.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of key regulations such as AML, SM&CR, GDPR, MiFID II.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and investigation skills.
