EHS Manager Role

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for ensuring a safe working environment? We are seeking an EHS Manager to join our team at Telent Technology Services Limited.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the rail industry, providing support for our business unit and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement environmental health and safety programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities.
  2. Establish inspection programs to ensure compliance with procedures, client requirements, and EHS laws, standards, and regulations.
  3. Liaise with suppliers to ensure effective assurance of supply chain and definition of standards required for approval and retention of key suppliers and sub-contractors.
  4. Develop business unit competency and performance in EHS and security-related matters.
  5. Manage project EHS requirements and resources.
  6. Manage day-to-day accident and incident databases.
  7. Produce and support monthly reports.

Requirements:

  1. CMIOSH and NEBOSH Diploma is essential.
  2. High-level working knowledge of rail industry standards and legislation.
  3. Management experience in a similar role in the rail industry is essential.
  4. Relevant auditor qualifications (minimum internal auditor qualification).
  5. Full NR PTS (Personal Track Safety) qualification desirable.
  6. Full clean driving license.
  7. Ability to travel and work nights/weekends on rare occasions.
