Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Progress Teachers Ltd. This role will involve working closely with students in a PRU setting, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their academic goals.
About the JobThis is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about making a positive impact on students' educational journeys. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and catering to students from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting classroom activities by assisting teachers in delivering high-quality lessons and ensuring that resources are accessible and conducive to a productive learning environment.
- Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance, ensuring their unique learning requirements are met.
- Contributing to a positive atmosphere by nurturing students with behavioural challenges and complex needs.
- Assisting in the preparation and organisation of teaching materials and ensuring that resources are accessible and conducive to a productive learning environment.
- Regularly assessing and reporting on student progress, collaborating with teachers to identify areas for improvement and implementing appropriate interventions.
- Supporting the integration of students with diverse needs into mainstream education settings, fostering a sense of belonging and promoting inclusivity.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience working within a similar role or in a relevant field.
- An understanding of the needs of students with diverse abilities and backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The estimated salary for this position is £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including training and development opportunities.
