Physiotherapist Functional Assessor

We are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. This is a unique opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise in a role that offers a better work-life balance and true hybrid working.
About the RoleAs a Functional Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life. You will draw on your clinical expertise to listen carefully to each person's medical history, perform a physical examination, and produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) to determine their eligibility for benefits.
The role involves meeting people both face-to-face and via telephone/video, requiring sensitivity, compassion, and the ability to ask the right questions while upholding best practice standards.
Requirements- Continuous Professional Development present on CV
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
- IT skills and experience of using a range of software
- Self-aware and focused on professional development
- Honest and able to maintain integrity and customer confidentiality
- Motivated to contribute to quality customer service, demonstrating empathy, respect, and sensitivity in assessment delivery
