Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to support a key project in Berkshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of employees and stakeholders on site.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Health and Safety professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects. As an Assistant EHS Advisor, you will work closely with our senior EHS advisors to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Responsibilities

  1. Support the development and implementation of EHS strategies and plans across projects.
  2. Conduct site visits and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  3. Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement effective risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  4. Provide guidance and training to employees on EHS procedures and protocols.
  5. Develop and maintain accurate records of EHS activities, incidents, and near misses.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH General/Construction qualification.
  • CSCS card holder.
  • Knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation, including CDM Regulations.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes a comprehensive pension scheme, 25 days annual leave, and opportunities for career development and growth.
