Audit Manager Senior Manager

We are supporting a fantastic firm of chartered Accountants based in Gravesend in their search for an experienced Audit Senior Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis with partnership prospects on offer.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver accountancy and audit services to a mixed client base with a large proportion of corporate clients across a range of industries and turnover up to 250m.
- Support a varied portfolio of owner-managed business clients.
- Lead audits from planning through to completion, liaising with the team and client where necessary.
- Host and conduct pre-audit and post-audit meetings with clients.
- Provide accountancy advice and support to clients as necessary.
- Conduct client meetings for the presentation of final draft accounts.
- Lead and manage a small team of qualified and part-qualified accountants.
- Mentor the team, reviewing their work and encouraging prompt and high-quality delivery and service.
- Develop and expand the team's skillset through development plans and training and support.
- Contribute to the firm's growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.
- Qualified ACA or ACCA or equivalent.
- Min. 5 years post-qualification experience in practice.
- Experience in accounts preparation, auditing SME-sized limited companies, taxation (corporate business & personal).
- Experience supervising staff.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
- Excellent planning, organisation, and deadline time-keeping skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
