Opportunity Summary
This exciting opportunity involves designing and implementing efficient real-time systems as an embedded software engineer at Roke. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing real-time systems using C and/or C++ for embedded development
- Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and applying them to deliver innovative solutions
- Working on diverse projects spanning various domains, including Array Processing, Communications, and Sensors
Key Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Expertise in C and/or C++ programming languages for embedded development
- Experience in unit and system testing
- Knowledge of embedded Linux platform development
- Understanding of modern DevOps practices, including version control and continuous integration
- Awareness of latest System on Chip (SoC) devices
Desirable Skills
It would be beneficial if you have experience in:
- Development and implementation of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms
- Modeling and simulating algorithms using MATLAB
- FPGA firmware development using VHDL
- Open source frameworks, such as OpenCPI
- Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms
