Opportunity Summary

This exciting opportunity involves designing and implementing efficient real-time systems as an embedded software engineer at Roke. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing real-time systems using C and/or C++ for embedded development
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and applying them to deliver innovative solutions
  • Working on diverse projects spanning various domains, including Array Processing, Communications, and Sensors

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Expertise in C and/or C++ programming languages for embedded development
  • Experience in unit and system testing
  • Knowledge of embedded Linux platform development
  • Understanding of modern DevOps practices, including version control and continuous integration
  • Awareness of latest System on Chip (SoC) devices

Desirable Skills

It would be beneficial if you have experience in:

  • Development and implementation of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms
  • Modeling and simulating algorithms using MATLAB
  • FPGA firmware development using VHDL
  • Open source frameworks, such as OpenCPI
  • Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms
