We are seeking a well-established Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team at The Sterling Choice. This role is a great opportunity for career progression and offers Team Leader responsibilities for the right candidate with a Food FMCG Manufacturing background and proven experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving equipment, ensuring reliability, and complying with health, safety, and environmental standards. This role is vital for the engineering team and operational processes to minimize equipment failure impacts.

Key qualifications and skills include:

  • NVQ3 / HND or equivalent in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
  • 18th Edition Electrical Regulations (BS7671).
  • Experience in electrical and mechanical fault-finding.
  • Strong understanding of Root Cause Analysis.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
  • Supporting the design, installation, and movement of machinery.
  • Conducting electrical fault finding and ensuring equipment safety.
  • Engaging in continuous improvement projects.
  • Supporting daily, weekly, and monthly engineering plans.
  • Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing solutions.
  • Coordinating with contractors as needed.
  • Risk assessing activities to ensure safety.

Salary: GBP 50,000 - GBP 52,000 per annum. Located in Plymouth, this role offers a competitive salary and opportunities for career advancement.
