We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Facility Specialist to join our team at AWE. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering a safe, secure, and compliant workplace environment across our highly regulated estates.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring maximum facility availability every day, while also acting as the key interface between the facilities team, projects, residents, and other business functions/stakeholders. You will manage relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and partners to ensure all safety and compliance aspects are delivered in accordance with SLAs and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and deliver a safe, secure, and compliant workplace environment across our estates.
- Ensure maximum facility availability every day.
- Act as the key interface between the facilities team, projects, residents, and other business functions/stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and partners to ensure all safety and compliance aspects are delivered.
- Develop and implement effective facility management strategies to meet the needs of our programme demanders.
- IOSH certification (minimum) or NEBOSH (preferred).
- IWFM professional membership (preferred).
- Prior facility, health and safety, and management experience.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and identify problems.
- Decision-making skills with a high degree of complexity or diversity.
- Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
