Facilities Management Specialist

At AWE, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering our facility management responsibilities and requirements across our highly regulated estates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Senior Facility Specialist to support, manage, and deliver a workplace environment that is safe, secure, and compliant with all relevant regulations and legislation.
- Manage, support, and maintain a designated portfolio of facilities on behalf of the appointed Senior Facility Specialist, ensuring maximum facility availability every day.
- Act as the key interface between the facilities team, projects, residents, and other business functions/stakeholders.
Requirements:
- IOSH is a preferred minimum requirement (or recognised equivalent Health and Safety qualification).
- IWFM professional membership held or willing to work towards.
- Prior Facility, Health and Safety, relevant experience would be an advantage.
- Ability to help drive continuous improvement by identifying problems, evaluating options and formulating effective process, system, and organisational solutions.
- Capable of maintaining a high degree of effectiveness in a multitask role, managing priorities and delivering to challenging timescales.
- High level of personal integrity, with the ability to handle confidential and otherwise sensitive matters professionally.
- Ability to be decisive under pressure with the confidence to challenge and push back if required.
- Effective motivational skills, and a great collaborator.
- Logical and analytical thinker, enabling performance.
- To have excellent communication, presentational and negotiation skills.
Security Clearance: Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for this role.
