About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Contractor Relationship Manager to join our team at Frieze Publishing Ltd.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with contractors and galleries, ensuring seamless execution of exhibitions and fairs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing Exhibitor Relations: Be the primary point of contact for galleries, handling all aspects of their participation in the fair, including application processing, selection committee meetings, and stand planning.
  • Liaising with Departments: Collaborate with various teams, such as Digital and Data, Content, Press, and Finance, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Problem-Solving and Mediation: Address exhibitor-related issues, mediate disputes between contractors and exhibitors, and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Research and Development: Conduct research on art fairs, galleries, and artists, contributing to new project ideas and initiatives.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Solid Experience: Proven experience working with art galleries and other client-facing environments.
  • Art World Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the art world, including galleries, artists, and market trends.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of the role.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - 65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
