About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team at Neville Court care home in Kendray, Barnsley. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in empowering the people we support to live fulfilled and happy lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organise and lead meaningful and entertaining activities for the people we support.
  • Develop and implement individual activity plans based on people's unique goals and interests.
  • Foster community spirit through group activities and support people to maintain their current and take up new hobbies, interests, and educational opportunities.
  • Assist people to become more involved in their local community and celebrate national awareness days, holidays, and individual/collective achievements.
  • Promote choice, dignity, and independence in all aspects of care.
About You
