About the Role

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team at Neville Court care home in Kendray, Barnsley. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in empowering individuals to live fulfilled and happy lives by organising and leading meaningful and entertaining activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organise individual activity plans based on people's unique goals and interests
  • Foster community spirit through group activities
  • Support people to maintain their current and take up new hobbies, interests, and educational opportunities
  • Assist people to become more involved in their local community
  • Celebrate national awareness days, holidays, and individual/collective achievements
  • Promote choice, dignity, and independence
About You

We are looking for someone who is caring, kind, and able to see the funny side of life. You should be a creative thinker, always on the lookout for new activities and ideas, and enthusiastic, encouraging, and inclusive. You will be a born organiser with a positive, can-do approach and great at listening and communicating.
