Breakfast Junior Sous

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Breakfast Junior Sous to join our team at The Newt in Somerset. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality breakfast service, working closely with our Head Chef to develop and implement a varied and seasonal breakfast menu.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the breakfast service, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and refine the breakfast menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients from our estate
  • Clear down after breakfast service and support the wider kitchen team with lunch offerings
  • Ensure adequate stock levels to maintain a seamless breakfast service
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times
  • Mentor and guide junior kitchen team members
