Automotive Bus and Coach Technical Specialist

GTG Training Limited is seeking an experienced Automotive Bus and Coach Technical Specialist to join our team in Wolverhampton.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to apprentices and commercial delegates at our training centre, ensuring they meet industry-accredited qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out training and education in a safe manner, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Utilizing appropriate training methods and preparing relevant training aids.
- Assisting the Team Leader and Automotive Training Manager in maintaining discipline and ensuring trainees comply with company policy.
- Mapping progress, underpinning knowledge, and completing awarding body documentation.
- Assessing trainees' knowledge, skills, and behaviours according to industry standards.
- Providing welfare support and guidance to apprentices and employers.
Requirements:
- Industry-recognised qualification in Automotive Maintenance and Repair Level 3 Bus and Coach or equivalent.
- English and Maths at Level 2 or equivalent.
- Proven track record in electrical diagnosis and ability to use modern automotive technology.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Enthusiasm and commitment.
- Full UK driving licence for subject specialism.
- Teaching qualification (training and qualification will be offered if not).
- Recent English and Maths experience (training and qualification will be offered if not).
- Experience of working with apprentices or young people.
- Assessing or TAQA qualification.
- First aid.
