About the Job
We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our team at Steer Automotive Group. As an MET Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers' vehicles are repaired to the highest standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out all necessary mechanical and body work on allocated jobs
- Dismantling vehicles ready for the panel shop
- Carrying out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work
- Ordering replacement parts
- Re-assembling the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition
- Ensuring all work meets the company's quality standards and complies with safety regulations
- Communicating effectively with the wider team regarding the status of repairs
About You
We are looking for an experienced MET Technician with high attention to detail and the ability to work skilfully and safely under pressure. You will have significant experience from an accident repair background and be able to plan your workload efficiently and effectively.
You will also have the ability to work as part of the team, as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision. We are looking for someone who is flexible in their approach, always working to high standards and with customer satisfaction in mind.
