Job Title: DevOps Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Matched Group. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud-based services, build environments, and microservices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management: Maintain the availability of core business services, including cloud-based services, build environments, and microservices.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor critical infrastructure to ensure any issues are proactively identified and resolved before they cause any issues for the business.
  • Platform Development: Research, design, test, and deploy new platform solutions to support and grow the internal infrastructure to meet business needs.
  • Collaboration and Cross-Training: Collaborate with internal teams to cross-train and deploy new products and technologies to continuously improve efficiencies.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and availability of intellectual property, as well as business-critical services, ranging from the e-commerce site, cloud services, maintenance of backup and disaster recovery processes, procedures, and facilities.
  • Customer Support: Assist support with customer issues.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Linux Experience: Commercial Linux experience, including configure and maintain.
  • Cloud Experience: Commercial Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including creation, configuration, maintenance of Load Balancing, VPCs.
  • Scripting Experience: Scripting experience, i.e., Bash, PowerShell, Python.
  • Configuration Management: Configuration management using Ansible and Terraform.
  • Certifications and Accreditations: Any certifications or accreditations would be beneficial, i.e., CompTIA Linux, Linux Foundation, ITIL, Cisco.
  • Collaboration and Communication Skills: Strong collaboration and team working skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
