Role Summary:
As a Learning Resource Officer - Motor Vehicle, you will play a vital role in supporting students in their motor vehicle studies at a prestigious Further Education College in East London. This part-time position involves preparing tools, materials, and equipment for practical sessions, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Working with Eden Brown Synergy:

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  1. Support motor vehicle students by preparing tools, materials, and equipment for practical sessions.
  2. Maintain accurate records of tool and equipment usage, ensuring safe practices in workshops.
  3. Collaborate with the automotive team to enhance the learning environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Formal qualifications in a relevant subject (minimum Level 2), including English and Maths.
  2. IT skills (Level 2 qualification desirable).
  3. Commitment to enrolling in a Level 3 course within the first year if holding a Level 2 Motor Vehicle qualification.
  4. Strong interpersonal and team-working skills, with ability to work independently.
  5. Competence in IT, administration, and tracking tool/equipment usage.

Desirable Experience:
  1. Previous experience in a motor vehicle training environment or FE college.
  2. Knowledge of health and safety practices in workshops.
  3. Experience preparing materials for exams and demonstrations.
