About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Crisis Support Worker to join our team at the Bradford Hub, working in partnership with Bradford Council. As a Crisis Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering one-to-one crisis support to clients, providing practical assistance to help them regain control over their lives and their own unique recovery process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver one-to-one crisis support to clients over the telephone or face-to-face, providing supportive interventions to help them manage their mental health and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of Crisis Support Workers to provide a comprehensive support service to clients.
  • Provide practical assistance to clients to help them access the support they need, including connecting them with local services and resources.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized support plans, working closely with clients to identify their goals and aspirations.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to ensure that you are up-to-date with best practices and policies.
Requirements
  • Experience of directly supporting people who have mental health difficulties within a mental health service or setting.
  • Ability to work with vulnerable people with multiple risk factors in a clear, meaningful, and non-judgmental way.
  • Capacity to inspire hope and belief that recovery is possible in others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of clients.
