About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Crisis Support Worker to join our team at the Bradford Hub. As a Crisis Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering one-to-one crisis support to clients over the telephone or face-to-face. Your primary responsibility will be to provide practical assistance to clients, enabling them to regain control over their lives and their unique recovery process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver one-to-one crisis support to clients, providing emotional support and guidance to help them manage their mental health.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to identify their needs and develop personalized support plans.
  • Provide practical assistance to clients, such as helping them access local resources and services.
  • Contribute to a supportive team environment, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of directly supporting people with mental health difficulties within a mental health service or setting.
  • Ability to work with vulnerable individuals, managing challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
