About Ingenuity Finance

Ingenuity Finance is a key division within The Hut Group, responsible for providing financial support to the senior management team and ensuring the delivery of operational, commercial, and financial targets. The team plays a vital role in the success of THG, and this role will be a highly visible and important part of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculation and posting of Variable Revenues across multiple revenue streams
  • Monthly P&L Management including Journal posting and review
  • Divisional Balance Sheet Management
  • Weekly forecasting – Incorporating new business wins and applying revenue recognition policies
  • Oversee Client Billing and associated income balance sheets
  • Clients P&Ls including Compilation, distribution and resolution of client queries
  • Providing financial information to stakeholders as and when required
  • Support on the divisional audit
  • Acting as the bridge between finance and the commercial teams of the division
  • Improving existing reporting and models from across the team
Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Experience working within a fast-paced environment
  • Prior knowledge of using Excel and finance systems
  • Ability to learn quickly and take proactive approaches to their work
  • Planning and organisational skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with Senior Stakeholders
  • Hands-on approach
