About the Role

West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Stroke Physician to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a leading healthcare organization and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist stroke care services at Watford General Hospital, including prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of illness.
  • Liaise with consultants in Emergency Medicine, Medicine, and Care of the Elderly to ensure optimal patient management.
  • Cover for colleagues' annual leave and other authorized absences.
  • Supervise and manage junior medical staff.
  • Contribute to medical audit, clinical governance, and continuing professional development.
