We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team in Calne, Wilshire. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for leading the finance function and overseeing a team of two people who handle transactional activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts for three legal entities, including full commentary, insights, variance reports, and recommendations.
  • Implementing KPI performance measures throughout the business and introducing weekly financial flash reports on actual vs forecast.
  • Conducting finance business partnering activities with the senior leadership team by using key insights from data to ensure financial efficiencies are achieved throughout the business.
  • Producing financial models to assist new business proposals andenders.
  • Reviewing all processes and systems to optimize efficiency, implement controls, and improve profitability.

Requirements:

  • Experience within an SME environment and held a Financial Controller role or similar role.
  • ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified is preferred, however, exceptional QBE/Qualified by Experience candidates will be considered.
  • Good experience of financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Experience of working with Sage is advantageous.
