Job Summary
**INTERNAL MPFT APPLICANTS ONLY**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to join our Out of Hours Team in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. This is a part-time opportunity for a 12-month secondment, providing a great chance to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
The North and South Out of Hours service has recently integrated, offering a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and evolving environment. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for leading shifts, implementing and evaluating care plans, and managing complex patient needs in the community setting.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a proactive, flexible, and dynamic individual with excellent clinical and communication skills. You will work closely with colleagues from the wider leadership team and have an awareness of the local and national agenda.
Main Duties of the Job
The role will centre on organising and leading shifts, implementing, evaluating, triaging, and managing the care for patients with complex needs within the community setting in the North Staffordshire locality. You will need to be a proactive, flexible, and dynamic individual with excellent clinical and communicative skills.
