About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Specialist to join our team at Marie Curie UK. As a Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients with complex symptoms and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a palliative care setting
  • Administer medication and treatment as prescribed, adhering to NMC policies and guidelines
  • Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and carers
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • RGN Registration Level 1
  • Understanding of palliative care and the needs of patients with complex symptoms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
